.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... Thank you for visiting the official AVERYLAYNE myspace page. After the break up of the band, Justin continued AVERYLAYNE as a solo project for nearly 2 years. Now, Justin has decided to simply go with his name, Justin Church. So if you want to keep up to date and stay in contact with Justin, please make sure you add ..myspace.com/iamjustinchurch.., as he will no longer be using this profile any longer. .... In promotion for his electronica album, there are a few electronica songs currently on the music player. Justin also has a few demos on the music player that you can listen to and get a feel for what he performs live; however, studio tracks will be up soon. .... ..AVERYLAYNE: origins.. As with any origin, averylayne had their start at the beginning. However, unlike everything else in the world, averylayne's beginning was in the summer of 2005. Two friends, Justin Church and Ryan Ball, were driving in a car from the local pool back to Ryan's house when they were discussing ideas for naming their recently formed band, when suddenly Justin saw the making of averylayne in an instant. He looked out the window and happened to glance at the street sign and it read 'Avery Lane'. .... At that very moment, he looked at Ryan and said, "dude, how does Avery Lane sound?" Ryan replied, "..sounds like a good name to me..." .... "..Yeah, a punk band!.." Justin suggested, "..But we should make it one word..." .... "..And add a 'y' in lane!.." Ryan added. .... After extensive searching to make sure no other band, national or local alike, was using the name, Justin wanted to take it one step farther. With the belief everything has a systematic meaning to every aspect of life, Justin knew AVERYLAYNE was destined for something great. According to English origins, ..Avery.. means '..noble..' and '..wise..' while ..Layne.. means '..narrow road..' or '..path..'. .... Thus the beginning of averylayne. From there, Cullen Williams became the drummer and they performed all throughout the mid-west for a year and a half until they decided to split to certain changes in their lives. Ryan was moving to VA to finish college and Cullen sold his drum set to buy a mic and start a career in hip hop under the alias RokaMic. .... Justin continued to pursue music with a new group of individuals of all different backgrounds and ages. As Justin was still fully punk rock oriented and at the time 24, he ran into a long time friend, Mark Droste, 19, having just left a metal thrash band, decided it was time to rebirth averylayne once more. .... Justin again on rhythm guitar and lead vocals and Mark on lead guitar. From there, he met Josh Kehe, 17, through mutual friends and instantly became friends themselves. Classically trained and new to the band scene, Josh was then added to averylayne as the new bassist. Within weeks of adding Josh, Terry Schott, 48, was the final addition as the drummer. With a classic rock feel, Terry brought to the table the much needed influence to meld the eclectic style that was to become the new sound of averylayne. .... Performing punk/metal music for nearly a year, the drastic end to the once again popular group. Josh was headed to college, Mark wanted to get back into the metal scene [even with the melodic tunes and metal riffs he played for averylayne]. Terry decided it was time to retire from the music scene as he knew it and began teaching drums, playing in a house band at a local bar for fun and continues to this day to help recording artists with drum parts as needed. .... As with the first breakup of averylayne, Justin decided to press on, harder than ever, with the music scene. With T-Shirts in hand, he continued averylayne as a solo project. Having released his first professional album, 'And the Saints Go Marching', an electronica album that has been considered to be "real Moby-esque." .... Through his music career, Justin Church has never ceased to write music, having written well over 300 songs to date. People tell him everywhere he goes, "there is definitely an increase in fidelity as the songs progress." .... He is currently finishing on his first full-length acoustic album, 'Light is the Constant'. It consists of music that will make you think about the sanctity of life. Having put years of thought and time into the making of this album, the estimated release date will be late March of 2010. AVERYLAYNE: origins

There is something about music that saturates into the depth of our innermost being; reaching beyond the natural form of reason, developing a higher level of understanding that penetrates to the very core of who we are.
