Influences
My earliest influences came from the experience of hearing sound effects in film. After absorbing the wide spectrum of sound coming from movies like Star Wars to Close Encounters of the Third Kind, I quickly understood the power this could have on our minds and our experiences on this planet. This attractive medium subconsciously moved me into the direction of pursuing music at an early age. After engaging in such musical styles as classical and jazz for many years, the introduction to electronic music had the biggest impact. Here was an art form in which one could fuse pure sound design into musical paradigms to communicate and express states of human existence in a way that has no boundaries and no limitations. It is music without classification and with no preconceived ideas as to how it should be. Today I continue to explore these possibilities within this medium of infinite possibilities. -
