  • Bio

Around 1999 or so, Bill Gillham and Chelsey Mann performed in the Tacoma area and recorded some songs together. Chelsey went walkabout and Sharra Acle took over singing duties and recorded more things with Mark Blasco and Alex Brighenti. Some of these recordings ended up on the first Cirrus Bay album, 'The Slipping of a Day'. But it was the 2nd cd, 'A Step Into Elsewhere' that really defines what Cirrus Bay wanted to do. Sharra and Anisha Gillham handle the vocals here, with Bill and Mark handling the instruments. Bill has the material for the 3rd cd, wanting this one to be the 'magnum opus', and if an affordable studio is found, then recording can begin. Right now nothing seems affordable.
  • Members

bill gillham - guitars, keyboards, mandolin --- mark blasco - bass guitar, drumkit --- sharra acle - vocals --- anisha gillham - vocals --- this is the line up for the latest cd, 'a step into elsewhere'. on the debut cd, 'the slipping of a day' most lead vocals were by alex brighenti. Alex has his solo music (check the friends, link to his site), and alex's brother Michael does the cover art.
