Visit my new website!!! www.danielleblakey.com to hear my new song FEARLESS!! :) Danielle Blakey Bio Danielle Blakey is a Sydney based singer songwriter - her style is a blend of LA pop with a pure organic acoustic sound, together with a catchy commercial sensibility. Danielle is the winner of the POP award at the 2011 NA2R (New Artists to Radio) with the track FEARLESS - NA2R is one of the most prestigious Radio competitions in Australia (previous winners include Thirsty Merc, Delta Goodrem, Faker, Emma Louise). Danielle was previously a finalist in the 2011 APRA PDA (Professional Development Awards). Her single Fearless was the 2nd most added track to radio in December 2011 and is being played on over 260 radio stations across Australia. Fearless will be released to iTunes on 6th January 2012. In the TMN (The Music Network) First Radio Airplay Chart for 2012, Fearless debuted at #10 on the Adult Contemporary Chart along side Bruno Mars and Adele and debuted at number 69 on the national Hot 100. Not bad for an unsigned, independent Pop artist. Danielle was mentioned on news.com.au site as one of 12 new acts to watch in 2012 along with artists Timomatic, Matt Corby and Goldfields. Danielle recently performed her single Fearless live on Channel 7's the Morning Show, broadcasting to a large audience around Australia. Danielle has already started to make a name for herself in the online music industry, with a celebrated #1 and #9 top ten rankings on OurStage.com with her songs "Weight Of Our World", "Closer" and " Fearless". While working on writing and recording for her own project, Danielle has also been concentrating on writing for major label artists and recently wrote the track "Invisible" on the new Stan Walker album, Let the Music Play (Sony).
