    Known for their witty wordplay and street life induced lyrics,D.M.G is far from your average ringtone driven rappers. Swipa, Brazzy J, Bo Mega, Trilla P, Blitz, and Shotta D members of The D.M.G , grew up on the streets of Maplewood, New jersey they all went to the same middle school (maplewood middle school). In early 2000 Swipa moved from Maplewood to Irvington while the rest of the D.M.G remained in Maplewood. In 2003 Swipa started Dead line the group wrote on a number of hits, including "Bang the 5" and "we could get it in ," ladyshy "now days," Rain tek "get money," and troublesum "troublesum 2007." In 2009 deadline broke up Swipa felt the glossy sheen of Deadline Records conflicted with his grimier rap aesthetic and therefore cut his ties and moved on to start another label Devils Musik roup. With his child hood friends Bo Mega, Trilla P , Brazzy J, Blitz and Shotta D in 2011. The Devil's Musik Group Co-CEO Swipa recently signed an independent deal with E1 music Ent also known as Koch Records. With the drop of Swipas The Devils Advocate V2 on Oct. 31 2011 and a new mixtape in the works D.M.G is proud to be operating as an independent where they have total control of their project.
