  • Small changes, but small !!!!

    Dear Friends,

As my recordcompany is finishing, my songs will be harder to find....
Still I want to thank extremedigitalrecords.com for their trust in my talents...
Reaching 100,000 profileviews on good old myspace, the question rises what I would suppose to do next... I hear you saying," look for another label":)
Frankly, I don't give a damn what happens, because I will always continue to do the same thing...
Of course I will let my best songs be available on the net and I think I don't exagerate to much promoting them to be bought by my friends, you...

All I want is art on my page and nice, beautiful people to communicate with...
I appreciate every kind of feedback, as long as it's no ordinary craptalk...

Last but not least, I don't avoid Facebook, so you can hook upon there to find me, maybe get to know me a little closer...

Finally I wish everybody a nice end of the holidays all around the world, I am curious about you...

    Big hugs & kisses,

    Doggy Dave Donquièstar

So, the songs you find on my normal player are the songs which I like best or became kinda culthits (if I can say so...:))...
I am featuring them not completely randomized...
I am proud of this record and of the people I've been working with...
Special thanks to/ Erhan Kurkun for the early recordings of 'Psycholove' & 'Mindloser' and to the Randomaniac-fans of course...
/ Shaï De La Luna for the pleasant recordings of the Phunkle West-album and to Sonja's great backing-vocals
    on 'Impulsify' & 'Magical Marriage'...
/ I do not forget Deborah Ostrega for her sweet assistance on 'Mindloser'!
/ I want to thank B.H.A.L for inspiring me while the making of 'Animal' and Inneke for her lovely act in the video of that song...
/ Last but not least a special deep thank you for Mc Speedy aka. Spydosaur and Mayonaise for the making of the °Trance Crash Cool°-& °Kicking In A Lifetime°- albums...
/ Rambastik did a great RMX of °Tropical Stormer...

    Greetings: Donquiestar
  • Why do I prefer MySpace instead of Facebook???

Let me be very clear: I don't hate Facebook... But I have the feeling that everyone is talking about spaghetti's and bubblegum, trying hard to be nice to each other, forgetting that not every artist is making music for their close non virtual friends & family... I mean: If I wanna talk to my mother or sister, I am NOT going to do that on a site which plays a dubious game with people's privacy...
If you wanna talk to close friends you call them with your mobile and you visit them or you go for a drink in a cool bar...
Everyone knows that I am a little bit nuts (but independent). I don't have to share that status with people that work from 9 till 5, nor do I feel like pushing my art to an invisible top...
I like the art & layouts on poor MySpace, I appreciate the accessibility of the players and profiles from artists you don't meet every goddamn day on a mainstream site which forces you to be friends with your good old neighbor that smashed your face because you called him an asshole when you were drunk...
I am sorry, my spaghetti wasn't so good today and I don't use bubblegum, was to busy making music and grinding my teeth...

    Is this clear???
You can add us on Facebook, the link is on our MySpace page...
    Cheers,

    Doggy Dave
