Official video for Enigma's "MMX (The Social Song)" is out!
After having released Enigma's "MMX (The Social Song)" we are happy to announce the launch of the official music video. Please feel free to enjoy the song and the video at www.enigmasocialsong.com!!!
In an interactive 3-month collaboration Michael Cretu created a song together with and for fans. Because of the great success we set up a follow-up event: People had the chance to submit original video footage to visualize the "Social Song". We were looking for Enigma's next video director!
Hundreds of videos have been sent in, all of them have been reviewed, and four of them have been finally selected. Congratulations to Aristides Moreno (Spain), Alise Ketnere (Latvia), Jose Luis Lopez Guillen (Mexico) and Jon Behari (UK) who officially contributed to the final video! We are excited about an amazing music video with a "social" story and an "enigmatic" spirit.

Enigma releases new “Social Video” Facebook App
Recently, we launched our video contest and finally decided to change our game plan. Our idea was to open the whole process and to give everyone the chance to contribute to a visual expression of Enigma’s “MMX (The Social Song)”. The final music video will be a compilation of different sequences from different people all over the world – a truly collaborative experience.
We thought that this is quite a unique approach to contests in general, which brought us to the idea: Why not extending it to become the ultimate global “Social Video“?! And this is how Enigma’s new Facebook App has been developed.
With your help we’ll create not only one official video, but hundreds or thousands! Everyone has the chance to visualize the Facebook profile pics of his/her buddies. You and your friends will be the protagonists of your personal music video for Enigma’s “MMX (The Social Song)”!

Become ENIGMA's next video director!
On December 15, 2010 we launched our final "MMX (THE SOCIAL SONG)" as a result of an amazing interactive fan event. We have so much enjoyed the last 3 months of collaboration and we got such a positive feedback that we decided to continue our journey.
People have shown their talent in singing, designing covers, and creating a song together, but one thing is missing, though - the music video. Enigma has always been popular for its outstanding visualizations… They were taking us to incredible places, telling wonderful stories, fascinating through colors and inspiring with artistic concepts. In short, Enigma's music videos are part of a journey trough "mind and heart".
And this is what we want to do with you: We encourage everyone to submit his or her music video for our final "Social Song"! Download your copy for free and start creating another magic piece of art!
"There are infinite numbers of possibilities. However, the art is to create a whole out of the countless details, fragments and ideas. "Enigma is a kind of United Colors of Music." Michael Cretu said ones. Follow his spirit, be original and surprise us with something unique! Everyone is welcome! Creative individuals, communicators and decision-makers... The social celebration continues!
The submission deadline will be February 11, 2010 at 4pm GMT+1. After closing date Michael will select his Top10 videos, which then you can select your favorite from. » Merlin « the new Mobile Studio Concept
After almost a year working on Michael Cretu's vision of an "all in one computed mobile studio" we finally present MERLIN - the new recording studio of Enigma's mastermind.
"Merlin is not only a mobile studio, it fits perfectly to the way I am usually working. It can be seen at the intersection between playing, recording and mixing." Michael Cretu says.
Similar to the prior Alchemist design study Merlin combines the four key parameters of recording in one box: a computed recording environment, a modular hardware concept, a control surface and a surround monitoring system.
