I am a harpist and a composer,
Erika Kawashimo

Born in Tokyo raised in Kobe,Japan.
Starts the Harp at the age of seven.
Graduates from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music harp department.

1993 Performed at "EL CANTARE Sacred Night Festival ",
"Love Blows Like the Wind"
in Tokyo Dome.

1996 Performed at the dinner with British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

1997 Perforned at the dinner with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.

1999 Performed at "the evening of the Andersen prize" award-giving ceremony with Michiko Japanese empress.

2002 Camposed the harp original pieces "The Legend of Mermaid-100pieces", got inspiration from
" Love Blows Like the Wind".

2006 Released the Harp Album
"The Legend of Mermaid,Special" include 18 pieces.
Presented the CD to
Michiko Japanese empress.

On sale throughout the world.
