Friday, I was a bit frustrated with MySpace... so I decided to write a short poem about it... hope you enjoy... LOL

MessSpace Hell

I logged in and couldn't see
the background pic I chose for me.
Myspace has struck it once again,
when will this nightmare ever end?

They take control when you don't know
one day your comments just won't show!
Your friends are leaving one by one,
pretty soon there won't be anyone!

What have they done with this dude Tom,
Did he know this place would be a bomb?
Someone come and light the fuse,
let's torch this hell we never use!

See ya myspace, you're such a mess,
it's boring here, I must confess...
No pictures, comments, friends or fun
Perhaps it's time for ME to run...

Debra Beach/Caligrrl Poems 2011


Yesterday the snow was melting quickly, so I was outside
with a pump, draining my grass pool.... LOL Okay, it's still half igloo, but hopefully
my tulips will pop up out of the ground and my rhubarb will come in quite nicely as
it does every year.

I planted 2 plum trees in honor of my late sister, but so far I've only seen one plum
which some critter ran off with while I wasn't looking... maybe that darn skunk or a
squirrel... the wolves howl in the night in Summer time...but I don't know if they are
plum eater's ...hmm... maybe it was Little Jack Horner!!

Little Jack Horner better run quick,
before I whack him with a stick.
He can't steal my sister's plum,
In 4 long years, it was the only one!!!

hahaha well, hope that gave you a smile or a little chuckle...

Hope you have a great new week ahead, and remember... laughter can make
Mundane Monday into something fun...sure helps the day go by easier!

Hello friends ~

My heart and prayers go out to all of the victims of yesterday's tragedy... such a sad event.

This is a poem I wrote and I think it's so very true, you just don't know what tomorrow will bring...

DON'T WAIT


Don't wait for tomorrow, what can be said today
The chance to share it may not come your way.
We don't know what tomorrow will bring
So let your love flow like a river in Spring.

Don't save the good dishes for one special day
That day may not come as your life slips away.
Don't keep the love held inside of your heart
Speak with tenderness that you never want to part.

Each breath is a gift, and a moment in time
To make someone smile, it won't cost a dime.
So don't wait for tomorrow, say it today
Before life and time have faded away.

Give a hug, not a shrug
Treat each human being with love.
Share a smile, give a kiss
Enjoy each day with happiness.
