Jace Aaron, a multi-instrumentalist (DRUMS, WASHBOARD, PERCUSSION, AUTOHARP, GUITAR, HARMONICA, DULCMER and NUMEROUS TOM TOMS AND BONGOS) who has a career that has run the gamut from the hard-driving punk sounds to the mellow country/roots rock notes of his Tennessee home. Jace starting playing drums at the age of 12 and singing in local Nashville’s printers alley and lower Broadway and has wrote and composed over 100 original songs of his inspirations and journeys.
Taking the vocals up to a controlled tanner harmony or a low bass baratone has been no problem for this gypsy , whose stage persona became a Long, Strange Musical Trip (yes, he has gotten down with the Grateful Dead’s Bob Wear in San Francisco and has opened for acts such as Hot Buttered rum.)through the east cost to the west Jace was a diverse utility front man for the cajin country/bluegrass band ‘ 3 mile grade’ with his own originals mixed with tom brigham and his mighty banjo .Jace has spun his wheels on the west coast scene through the Santa Cruz mountains with the Matt Hartle jam band adding sweet Harmony and percussion. Has starred in a CMT ORIGINAL county music video with icon Dolly Parton, shot in Nashville’s Roberts Western wear which pushed him to wake up to his Tennessee country roots, nailing down the harmonies of Richie Owens and the Farm Bureau, a group that actually began in the OLD SMOKY MOUNTAINS ,And was reborn again in the Bay of Northern California’s Oakland/Berkley area, and now back to his home in Nashville Tennessee
