I am a singer and songwriter from Uppsala, Sweden who has been based just outside of Oslo, Norway for quite some time now. I go back and forth all the time though, saying I am "going home" both ways, so let..s just say I am Scandinavian! When I am not in one of these two places I am probably in Paris or some other European city, writing songs with someone. I had some great success in France with an artist called Jenifer. I wrote her first huge single J..attends l..amour - "True Love" in english, which was the first single of my first album Things We Do. .. When I..m not writing for other artists I write for myself, which is what I have been concentrating on last year - working on my third soloalbum. Before this, I..ve released "Things We Do" (2002) and "Pictures of Me (2005). Both on the Norwegian indie label Grappa... Writing songs and singing them is for me one of many great things in life! For me, just playing the song that you just wrote - even if no one is listening (!) - is a reward itself for all the work you put into it. I have a song about this on my upcoming album "From an outlined silhouette". Out JUNE 8th! Stay tuned for my new album, which will be released next spring. This time I have taken a step back "to my roots" and made a record which is a a happy mix of the music closest to my heart. "Distance" was the first single from this album and it got a lot of airplay on national radio in Norway this summer, followed by Bittersweet during the fall. The new single CHANGE is now on air in Norway while Distance has just been sent out to radio land in Sweden.
