About me:

I am Vonda J. Williamson born in Waynesboro,MS on April 25, I am the youngest of 10 siblings. My family relocated to Albany, NY in 1960 where I was raised, and received my education.
I got my start in singing at the age of 12 with my local church, St. Johns Church of God in Christ-where I was a member of the Youth Choir. In 1977 at the age of 22 I became a member of my first R & B band by the name of “Shakun”. I was one of the lead vocalists in the band for approximately 8 to 10 months. In early 1978, I then moved on to become a member of another R & B band by the name of “Samore” out of Albany, NY. We performed at various venues within the tri-city area and entering and winning a number of talent competitions and maintaining first place status and known as the elite local group. In 1982, I joined a group by the name of “Suite,” as a lead vocalist and in addition to that was a part time vocalist for a band by the name of “Wall Street.”
After experiencing the loss of a very close friend and band member, my quest for singing in R & B bands ended. In 1994, I returned to my roots (Gospel Music). I joined a local church by the name of Bethel C.O.G.I.C, out of Schenectady, NY. There, I received my Supernatural deliverance from a Tobacco addiction of 30 years; I experienced complete deliverance on January 1, 1994--to never return to that addiction again. My relationship with the Lord had been restored. In my restored relationship, the Lord mended my heart to singing unto him songs of Praise, Worship, Devotion and Adoration. The Lord restored my singing, not only singing, but increased my ability to write lyrics and create melodies as a song writer. After this experience in the Lord, I was able to minister in many churches by singing in the choir, ministering as a solo artist in different gospel events/functions North, South, East and West within the United States.
In 2004, I joined a gospel group by the name of MBG (Music by God), located in Atlanta, Ga. In late 2005 the Lord moved upon my heart to minister as a solo artist in the songs he had given me-to write. It was then that he moved upon the heart of another one of MBG’s band members (Marcus Moore) to assist me in putting music to a number of the songs that the Lord had given to me. During that tenure we were known as Jesus Anointed Music Servants. The Lord then, by way of a number of conformational events, had shown me that he was going to take me to an even higher level and again, through various prophetically spoken words, confirmed that I will be doing great works for him through the ministry of song, praise and worship.
The Lord has spoken and… The door is open !

Track Record/Song Compilation

Although I have been ministering in songs produced by other artists over the past decade, the lord has called me to a new platform of ministry by pouring in me a wealth of my own original writings that was birthed out of my personal relationship with Him. Over the past year, I have written 17 songs and melodies-14 are complete. The lord has placed me in various environments to minister these songs: Local venues, public parks, churches, talent showcases and TV ministries. I have worked with other gospel artist/ministers and gospel organizations: 1. Sister Inetta Cooper – New Beginnings TV Ministry, 2. Yvette Roberts “Holy Rollers” Gospel Ministry, 3. Beverly Rhodes “Shades of Color, Inc.” In addition to ministering in song, I served as a partner in organizing “The National Big Sweep” revival, 4. Stella Bass etc. Iam an Active TBN Prayer Partner and Captain/Usher at Atlanta studio in Georgia.
