About me:

My name is Lori (Koop) Finch. I was born & raised in Las Vegas, NV until 1976 when my parents split & I moved to Superior, WY off & on for several years finally settling in the Lehi, UT area with my daughter, Tiawna, & her new dad, Chuck. In 1984 we all moved back to Vegas for work as Chuck was now employed as a lineman apprentice. We then had Tiawna's brothers, Eric & a year later, Jesse. The work eventually took us to Hemet, CA where we stayed for several years & in 1989, we ended up in Indian Springs, NV, my current home. I worked for many years at Indian Springs Air Force Auxiliary Field, now Creech Air Force Base, and am currently on hiatus from work. I have had health problems since birth, so I DO appreciate life and I am pretty good at enjoying it! My greatest accomplishments have come through my three great kids, & their dad is not far behind. I love my dogs, especially Cola & all the good people in my life, you know who you are! I do stand up for my freedom fighters, US troops, they deserve to come home to the best of what the USA has to offer; please remember them in your prayers...

In a Antwerp, Belgium train station at first befuddled, and then delighted by a mass dance that breaks out to music from "The Sound of Music." It turns out the event was staged last month to promote a Dutch TV talent show searching for the next person to play the character, Maria von Trapp, in a new musical. But it still makes us smile.
