Doesn't your heart just bleed for Steven Tyler and the pain he's experienced? I think if Steven Tyler (among many other spoiled brats in the entertainment industry) would just shut his huge mouth, get a haircut, put on some normal clothes, and get a job at Wal-Mart, then no one would want to take pictures of him while he's at home. It's a typical entertainment industry story -- your first few artistic endeavours are pretty damned good, then you spend several decades or more creating garbage (ripping off the unsuspecting public) so that you can maintain a royal lifestyle, all the while acting like a BABY. :)

I don't mind so much when people like Janice Dickinson say that they love gays. They're just soliciting an audience. Nothing really wrong with that. BUT OTHERS (Elton John and Anderson Cooper, et al), who jumped onto a wave of positive gay press and rode it like their lover(s), I think is ESPECIALLY DISGRACEFUL!!!! All the while the media, AND THE GAY PUBLIC especially, ignored that while many public gay personalities have been "in power" for years, those public gay "officials" who had the power to DO SOMETHING stayed silent while gays were being regularly discriminated against, beaten, and KILLED! Where was their morality then?

" I KNOW that the music I've written, and continue to write, is emotionally very powerful; I've been told so by many, many musicians and fans. BUT I can't help feeling intensely disheartened by the fact that I'll NEVER get the time of day by ANY of the several HUNDRED living musicians who've inspired me to make music my life."

" You've heard, from conservatives, many times, that liberals don't celebrate success (which is BS, everyone does, everyone has heroes, I'm sure everyone even looks up to at least one person who's financially successful). But, to what success are conservatives referring? They're referring to corporate/financial success, which clearly includes tens of thousands of legal thieves and their paid accomplices, TO CORPORATE PIGS WHO RUN ROUGHSHOD OVER THE CONSTITUTION, THE WORLD'S LEGAL SYSTEMS, AND THE OFTEN IMPOVERISHED CONSUMER. Money doesn't equal success; else let's celebrate the success of drug kingpins, mafia and gang bosses, Bashar Al-Assad, Osama Bin-Laden, Saddam Hussein, et al. I've spent years and tens of thousands of dollars learning to write real music, not rap or using drum machines, real music with real arrangements for real instruments. And though I've yet to earn a penny from music, I certainly wouldn't trade it for a lifetime of the privilege to slave for one of our many thieving corporations."
