Recently I have noticed that alot of bands have big egos and disrespect other bands, including bands that have paved the way for others to be able to be heard. What is up with that shit? Do people really think that they can get further by shit talking and acting like self-righteous assholes? They need to step the fuck down and realize that they are no better than anyone else. What do you possitively accomplish from acting like an asshole? NOTHING. All you do is dig a hole for yourselves. Kids are not going to support someone who trashes everyone. Don't believe me? compare album sales from those who shit talk and those who show respect. So before you start high school bullshit drama why not take a step back and look at the situation before opening your mouths. Respect will get you alot further than acting like a cunt. Lose the ego and the tough guy/gal routines and you'll succeed, and before you start some shit with someone just remember one word, RESPECT. -

it has recently been brought to my attention that i dont make it clear enough on what i mean so let me clarify:
do NOT ask me for backstage passes or free tickets or anything of that sort EVER. if i want to give you passes or tickets to a show then i will make that decision, not you. do not ask me for favors or to "keep you in mind" when it comes to passes or tickets for certain bands. if you are my friend then i am aware of who some of your favorite artists are. if i end up having access to passes or tickets i will then think of who i know that likes that artist and offer them IF i want to do so, not because you want me to. i dont care how long we've been friends, how good of friends we are or any of that shit. ive had friends that were around for many years that i thought were friends but were really just using me, and ive had friends that ive barely known at all that have proved they could care less about anything other than my friendship. if i wanna hook you up with something, then i will make that decision. if you're only in it for the "perks" dont bother trying to play it off like you're my friend cuz i will see right thru that shit. trust me, people have done it for years..im just usually too nice of a person to say no. you want passes so you can meet a band? heres an idea..look to see if they have a fanclub. if so, they most likely offer meet and greets for their members. that is your best bet on getting any form of passes or meeting bands other than going early/staying late and stalking the band. passes should NOT be able to be bought from someone at the venue. if they are, then they are most likely NOT approved by the artists and you probably will not get a good reaction from them.
so please take that as fair warning NOT to ever ask me for passes, tickets or anything of that sort. kapeesh?3:53 AM-

I've been around the rock music scene for a few years now, and I really don't understand the attitude of a lot of bands that are out there...Although my thing is rock music, i have a wide taste in music. And now and again they give me ideas for songs of my own.....My own view right or wrong, is to try and treat everybody with respect, after all you may need their help one day.....I have stayed behind at gigs I have done, sometimes for hours afterwards, sometimes just to chat. I never turn my back, or ignore a fan. After all with out your fans, you would not have a point for being here.....I think you get where I am coming from.....Much respect.....
