The 10th commandment tells us “"Thou shall not covet” (Exodus 20:17).Coveting is longing for something that is not rightfully ours. That is usually because the object of our desire already belongs to someone else. We need to be content with what our FATHER provides us with & trust in The LORD for increase. Distraction from putting GOD 1ST place over our time, talents & finances comes in many forms. We have to daily seek our Creators Favor & Direction in HIS WORD, because when our ways please HIM, HE will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). FATHER GOD, we thank YOU for life & we ask for YOUR Mercy this day YOU have made. We tend to see those who are not in YOU WILL prospering in their sins. The possessions that they may have are sometimes out of our financial reach. Help us to not focus on gratifying our fleshly desires, but on our eternity. Help us to forsake the lusts & desires of the world around us & seek understanding in YOUR WORD. Give us wisdom to turn from our wicked ways. Wickedness seems to be all around us, we need YOU in every way, so we don’t stumble out of YOUR WILL. Psalms 37: 7 Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself--it tends only to evildoing.9 For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait and hope and look for the Lord [in the end] shall inherit the earth. Stay humble & faithful 1!!!
