.. Ramon Zarate was formed in February 2006 by Salva Giambra (lead guitar), Gabriel Marguerie (drums) and Julien Bockiau (bass) and completed its, initial but not definite, formation in August 2006 with the arrival of Ivan Del Castillo (singer, rythm guitar). Rock 'n' roll with lots of groove, eye catching riffs, explosive drumming, a fuzzed out bass and whisky drinking, cigarette smoking vocals. When you put all these ingredients together in a melting pot, Ramon Zarate is what you get. Until now the quartet has shared the stage with bands such as Stonebride, Dozer, Firebird, Alabama Thunder Pussy, Karma to Burn, Brant Bjork ... R.Z. recorded their self-titled debut album in February 2008 in Madrid, Spain, at Redled Studios by Joaquin Pizarro Pariente and Ruben Suarez with the help of Daniel Pineda (drum tech). After the recording, the band had a change in the line up with the arrival of David Greisch (drums) which completed the definite formation of the band. After 18 months of concerts, jamming and composition, RZ went on to record their 2nd album "OYSTER". Being very satisfied with the results of their debut album they decided that "OYSTER" should be recorded once again in Madrid by Joaquin Pizarro at Redled studios. The album has been available since October 2010. .... ......
