About me:

Born and raised in Garden Grove ,Calif.the year Kennedy was shot,the first of 4 boys of teetotaler Irish Catholic parents.My parents never drank,smoked,cussed,fought,cheated,missed a holy day or mass,or watched a PG rated movie !!We grew up in a Leave it to Beaver world !! I had coal black hair,green eyes,and skin as white as milk,and still have everything except the hair,now shaved !! I was awarded smartest student in grades 4,5,6 at Simmons Element.,and in 6th -9th grade was altar boy at St. Columbans Catholic Church. I was a FANATIC LA Rams fan starting about age 6,anyone else remember Roman Gabriel,Merlin Olsen,Jack Snow ?? Sports were a huge part of my life until about age 8 ,when I heard the song American Pie,then rock music took over and sports ended. Nominated as #1 Beatles freak,Lampson Jr. high,also Honor Society 7-8 th grade,also Electonics club pres. Finished 2nd place in KABC 790 AM Radio "Wild Bill Moran" Beatles trivia contest among 1,300 entrants ,most much older than me.Was invited to appear live on his radio show with 1st prize winner,first time on radio way back in 1977!! Parents finally allowed me to grow my hair out in high school ,went on to graduate with the longest hair of Garden Grove High class of 1981.Kept my hair long even though 90 % of guys cut theirs to become preppies around 1980 ! Started smoking weed in 9th grade when it was $40 an oz.(higher grade was $60):Columbian Gold,Thai,Red/Blond Lebanese Hash,Honey Oil,Jamaican.
