    Shaneil Devaser, born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on April 21st, 1988, raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, plays his guitar and sings tunes that come from the heart of a madman, lover and best-friend. Notorious for his slightly-odd behavior, autistic-like attitudes, half-construed sentences and ever-misguided truths, Shaneil Devaser often dives into a foray of lateral-thoughts and misguided-chords with an SM58 microphone and his oldest guitar fitted with an L.R. Baggs M1A pickup or his Epiphone AJ-100CE. Besides the acoustic gigs, Shaneil Devaser also gigs with the Border Crossers, remnants of the infamous Crossing Boundaries, to flesh out loud full-band gigs when the occasion and opportunity arises. Shaneil Devaser has played numerous gigs in and around Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Melbourne since the establishment of his primary band Crossing Boundaries in April 2008. Crossing Boundaries however disbanded in April 2012 due to members having to go their own separate directions:- Jeremiah Abraham left to further pursue his studies in Monash University, Tristan Devadason left to further pursue his studies abroad and Rashaad Ali still just wants to play because somewhere in everyone's heart the beat goes on, and maybe one day Crossing Boundaries will be whole again. Moving on, Shaneil Devaser's solo career official started in December 2011 with a string off unofficial open mic gigs in December 2011 and the starting off The Beer Sets in January 2012, a string off acoustic gigs where the booze just keeps on coming. Besides The Beer Sets, Shaneil Devaser will also be organizing and playing in The Leader Sets, a string off acoustic gigs where every performer is a frustrated band leader masquerading as a singer / songwriter, set to run from May to June 2012. In April 2012, the official date of the disbanding of Crossing Boundaries, Shaneil Devaser will be playing a string of open mic gigs in Melbourne and Sydney aptly dubbed The Sets Down Under. Lastly, besides the slew of originals written during the time of Crossing Boundaries, Shaneil Devaser has further ventured into newer tunes with layers of vocals and guitars. The single, Sleep All Day, was launched August, 2012, and the EP released October, 2012. Tracks on the EP include "Full", "Sleep All Day", "Believe", "Talking to Me" and "Past Song".
