Bio
.. .. .. .. .. .... ............MySpace Layouts..............MySpace Layouts............MySpace Codes............MySpace Backgrounds............Hi there and thanks for dropping by. Just a little background on me: I was signed (and dropped) by Motown Records as a recording artist when living out in Los Angeles. Tainted by the industry, I set aside my singing passion for several years. While living in New York, I had the opportunity to perform as part of several projects, but the one that reawakened my desire to sing was a burlesque troupe. I rediscovered my love of the blues, and am now putting together a repertoire of blues music primarily from the 1920's-1940's. My father is a phenomenal blues musician (plays, writes, & sings). He humbles me with his talent, and I can only hope I acquired a tad taste of his amazing abilities. The music that can be heard on this page was recorded by me over the last several years, and unfortunately does not properly reflect my true passion for the blues. I hope to get into the studio and gigging again shortly! I am currently looking to meet (in the TriState area): Other artists in the blues genre, producers, coaches/mentors, and pianists. -
