Personal: My parents for allowing me to be me, and giving me sound advice and moral upbringing and guiding me to have hopes, dreams and how to use my imagination, and especially teaching me how to be a gracious loser as well as winner. Learning how to treat other people with respect and encourage them to be their best will make me and them in any situation a better person. My best friends Dee and Diana who stood by me through a painful time in my life and who each through their uniqueness bring a special joy to my life, I have never laughed so hard in my life with anyone else, and you know what they say (whoever they is) laughter is good for the soul. Thank you Diana and Dee for loving and appreciating me you guys are the best! Love you both more than family. My loyal and fun friend Diane who I can always count on to laugh at me when I do or say something silly. I really appreciate her loyalty and devotion to me as a friend and her family. I also love that we can still play video games together like little kids. My friend Kim Shields who befriend me many years ago and still loves me and keeps in touch with me with her active life, a wonderful woman and inspiration for me. Debbie Brooks, for the way she communicated with young people in church youth groups and helped change their lives and embraced me to be a part of that wonderful experience. Mrs. Joyce Ulibarri and Mrs. Joan Cain for being best friends to my mother for all of my life, knowing that they are there for me is a great comfort. My latest and greatest heros are Ann Edelblute who has worked very hard to put Carrie Underwood out there for us all to see and enjoy. I recognize that her efforts alone have helped propell Carrie into stardom and recognition through out America and the world. My final hero is Carrie Underwood, she has brought me hope for the future of the youth of this nation and world. Carrie's solid moral upbringing and consistent respectful behavior and treatment of others is inspiring to me to believe that there is hope for youth through her living example. In a day and age of moral indecency, disrespectful behavior, attitudes and unwise decision making through media and other sources of influence, Carrie is the best example of someone to idolize and look to to follow in their footsteps.
