Lauderdale, FL – May 24, 2011 - The premier rock festival at sea, ShipRocked, marking its third annual voyage this November, has added another heavyweight band, Sick Puppies, to its already jam packed line-up featuring Buckcherry, ..Queensrÿche, Hinder, Hellyeah, Sevendust, Candlebox, Filter, Living Colour, In This Moment, Lynam, Broken Teeth and Rival Sons.

    Sick Puppies are set to play to new fans and rabid existing fans alike onboard ShipRocked 2011, after having shared stages with the likes of Nickelback, Seether, Shindeown, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Deftones, Velvet Revolver, and many more over then past four whirlwind years they've spent in the rock and roll fast lane. The band recently released their latest album, a new, deluxe version of their acclaimed "Tri-Polar," which has sold over 300,000 copies to date, and spawned four top 10 Rock tracks "Maybe", "Odd One", "You're Going Down", and their latest "Riptide" which is currently #2 on the Active Rock radio chart, steering the band's way to appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Lopez Tonight.

    ShipRocked 2011 sets sail November 14-19, 2011 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, heading for the tip of Mexico and its popular stretch of gorgeous Caribbean water known for scuba diving, shopping and bars aplenty. LA's multi-platinum Buckcherry, along with progressive metal pioneers (and SR 2009 alumni) Queensrÿche, Oklahoma retro rockers Hinder, metal titans Hellyeah (featuring
    ..members of Mudvayne and the legendary Pantera), SR 2010 crowd-favorite Sevendust, rock radio mainstays Candlebox and Filter.., funk-rock pioneers Living Colour, and LA's In This Moment, led by the vocal pyrotechnics of Maria Brink, are all sure to wreak havoc on the high seas. Main support comes from SR perennials and late-night favorites Lynam as well as the inescapable Texas thunder of Broken Teeth and new sensation Rival Sons and their brand of 70's style guitar groove.   • Sick Puppies and the EMI Family Unite for Japan

    Artists and songwriters from across the EMI family are raising funds to help the Red Cross support people affected by last month's earthquake and tsunami in Japan, through an incredible worldwide auction of personal items and memorabilia. Among the amazing items being donated, a signed Martin guitar from Sick Puppies.

    All funds raised will be used towards the Japanese Red Cross disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Funds will be used for the on-going provision of immediate relief to support the affected population during their recovery. EMI Group has committed to match all funds raised from the auction up to a maximum of one million euros.

    The first phase of the charity auction starts today (April 5) and will run until April 15th, with more than 200 exclusive money-can't-buy items. A second phase of the auction will take place between April 11th – 21st. All the items can be viewed at www.ebay.co.uk/emifamily4japan...
