Bio
While Sleeping Girl's sound has changed quite alot since their formation in 2003, the music created by the band has remained consistently strong throughout their existence. The new album "Tonight" finds the band retaining elements found on their debut, while branching into many new directions. Sunny Day, U2 and Coldplay are all brought to mind throughout, but expectations are continuously shattered as the album finds the band easily flowing from country to rock, to metal to folk-sometimes all within the same tune. The new record is really, really well written and I encourage people to check it out. After an extended hiatus, the band is finally getting ready to play these gems in their Canadian element. They wish to express their thanks for the support everyone has shown thru the wait and encourage all to come out to the shows.
