    The Doomsday Prophecy

The Doomsday Prophecy are perhaps the most up and coming band in the NJ area that I’ve ever mentioned. They have hardcore fanbase that seems to be only growing, decent recordings, and have constant shows, which win new fans a lot. The band features members of Mister Monster, a horror-punk band, Norman Bates, a tech-death-hardcore band, and Gotham Road, which featured Michale Graves [Misfits] on vocals. This all-star group is something that takes the best of all it’s musicians and creates a unique frenzy. I didn’t know what to expect from this band live, but the energy they unleash on stage is something that many bands need to recognize. It’s more than just head banging, it’s about moving. The guitars are an interesting mix of thrash, death and black metal with the occasional well-placed breakdown. The drummer, Jake Blochinger, shows off his blast beats and double bass, but isn’t afraid to scale back enough with a simpler steady beat. This creates more anticipation in the music. Vocals are screams and growls straight out of a melodic death metal band. Check out their music on their ReverbNation page.
  • New songs

What up? As some of you see we have posted 2 songs from our recent session, these songs will serve as your first real look into The Doomsday Prophecy. Many thanks go out to Steven Kellner for tracking and engineering this project, Ethan Bill at Room 368 studios for letting Steve use the studio to track drums, and Brendan at AI recordings for bringing it all to life.

This is where we need your help the most (yeah you) please help us spread these tracks, lock up your kids, hide your girlfriends, and watch your back....here we come!

  • Recording FINALLY!

Hey everybody, we know it's been a while since we've given you an update on whats going on with TDP but we're happy to say we've finally begun recording! So far Jake has laid down all his drum tracks and we'll start bass and guitars very soon. Everything is coming out great so far with the help of Brian's brother, Steve Kellner (Van Atta High), who is kicking ass on the engineering side. We're doing a 6 song disc, some songs you'll be familiar with and others will be new to some of you so keep an eye out for updates on it! We're also writing more material, some of which will be ready by Feb 27th for our show in Bogota so be sure to drop by and support, we're playing with some great bands!

    Keep this scene alive!!
