More of an idea then anything else at the moment... I have been playing drums in metal bands most of my life & just got a little tired of not having a say in it musically (& playing over 200 bpms every song). I always envied "real musicians" One day last october (I believe a few times before as well) I decided that I needed a change... I packed up & moved away. I bought a few new things such as a Roland Juno G synth, two Violins, A ukulele, A Boss rc-50 foot pedal a few mics & other hard ware & started this up. I have seemed to procrastinate very well up until the last few days, everything just came at once while playing around with some different sounds & noises. Mainly just trying to record an album of all the ideas that come to me by & by right now. The goal is to be able to play most of everything live myself right now mainly because I can never seem to make it with other musicians. I am moving back to Seattle in May & am going to start small & stay out of the way & low...I miss the feel of being involved in a small community & having some sort of nitch. It creates great visual writing methods for me, that I tend to go back & visit them in my head all to often. I also want to try to write for some independent films & make a small local label. I feel like recording should be a task-less party amongst all your friends with enough influence to get up & scream into a microphone & wail out on any instrument in an orderly chaos of sound waves. I want to have every body involved in the recording process to create an over all HUGE sound, & a fun atmosphere... so, will you join me?
