THE SOUNDS FORZADOS A CANCELAR CONCIERTOS EN SANTIAGO, CHILE Y BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA POR PROMOTOR

The Sounds tienen que cancelar sus próximos conciertos en Santiago, Chile en el Club Blondie el 1 de septiembre de 2010, y en Buenos Aires, Argentina en La Trastienda Club 02 de septiembre, debido a la incapacidad del promotor ha cumplir con sus obligaciones contractuales para traer a la banda a estos países.
 
The Sounds desean ofrecer la siguiente declaración a sus fans:
 
"Estamos realmente muy molestos que los próximos conciertos en Sudamérica no van a suceder. Esto iba a ser nuestra primer presentacion en Argentina y Chile, y la respuesta de los fans ha sido increíble. Hemos hecho todo lo posible, y estamos furiosos que el promotor ha hecho daño a nuestros fans en ese sentido. Sabemos que muchos de ustedes ya han comprado sus boletos, y muchos viajaban largas distancias para llegar a estos conciertos (como nosotros!), Y sólo podemos esperar que podamos volver en un futuro con nuevas fechas para todos en Sudamérica. Gracias a todos por su apoyarnos y nuestra música. "
 
El promotor, Claudio Pérez Piraino de conciertos Chile, no logro obtener los visas de trabajo necesarios para que llegaramos entrar en los países para estos conciertos, y entre muchos otros errores, no los seguro los locaciónes de los conciertos, pagar por el viaje o cualquier costos o responsabilidades asociadas a los conciertos. Después de tantas promesas, el promotor ha desaparecido y no se comunica ya través de teléfono o correo electrónico con un representante de la banda, mostrando que no tenía la intención de complir con el contrato. Se le dio una última oportunidad para rectificar la situación, y una prueba de los pagos, las solicitudes de visa de trabajo, etc, pero decidió no responder, lo que obliga a la cancelación de los conciertos. Ahora parece que este promotor ha hecho lo mismo a muchos artistas internacionales, y aunque ha sido informado oficialmente, es ilegal continuar vender boletos para estos conciertos cancelados y tomar el dinero de los fans.
 
Hemos recorrido el mundo extensivamente en los últimos 10 años, ofreciendo conciertos en vivo dinámicos e inolvidables en más de 25 países, y han realizado más de 1000 conciertos sin incidentes.
 
Para todos que hayan comprado boletos a través de Ticketek o Ticketmaster, por favor intente recuperar su dinero de vuelta desde el lugar que ha adquirido sus boletos. Para todos que no pueden obtener un reembolso, por favor póngase en contacto con el promotor directamente con la información de contacto de abajo:

THE SOUNDS FORCED TO CANCEL UPCOMING CONCERTS IN SANTIAGO, CHILE AND BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA DUE TO PROMOTER....

The Sounds have been forced to cancel their upcoming performances in Santiago, Chile at the Blondie Club on September 1, 2010, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina at La Trastienda Club September 2, 2010 due to the inability of the promoter to fulfill his contractual obligations to bring the band to these countries.....

 ....

The Sounds would like to offer the following statement to their fans:....

 ....

“We are really very upset that the upcoming shows in South America are not going to happen.  This was going to be our first time playing in Argentina and Chile, and the response from fans has been amazing. We have done everything we can, and we are mad that the promoter has hurt our fans in such a way. We know that so many of you have already bought tickets, and many were traveling great distances to get to these shows (as were we!), and we can only hope that we can come back in the near future for new dates all over South America.  Thank you all for your support of The Sounds and our music.”....

The promoter, one Claudio Perez Piraino of GIGS Chile, failed to obtain the necessary work visas to allow The Sounds to enter the countries for these shows, and among many other failures, did not secure the venues, pay for the flights or any costs or responsibilities associated with the concerts.  After repeated promises to the contrary, the promoter has disappeared and no longer communicates via phone or email with any representative of the band, showing that he never intended to.  He was given one last chance to rectify the situation, and provide proof of payments, work visa applications, etc, but decided to not respond, thus forcing the cancellation of the concerts.  Upon further review, it now appears that this promoter has done this to many other international artists, and although he has been notified officially, he is illegally still selling tickets to these canceled concerts and taking money from fans. ....

The Sounds have toured the world extensively over the last 10 years, bringing their dynamic and unforgettable live show to over 25 countries, and have performed over 1000 concerts without incident.  ....

For those who have purchased tickets through Ticketek or Ticketmaster, please try and recover back your money from the place you purchased your tickets.  For those who cannot get refunds, please contact the promoter directly at the contact information below.  ....
