Hello, my name is Connor. Lets get some things straight. I am not here to be another one of the million Never Shout Never wanna be's. I'm not here to write catchy cute love songs that have no meaning to me. I write songs about what is going on in my life. I write about growing up, friends changing, and high school. Writing songs helps me get through all confusion of being a teenager. I normally don't write love songs, mainly because I've never been in love, nor do I plan to be for a while. My main goal in music has always been to write music that other people can relate too. A piece of music that after a rough day, someone can turn on and instantly feel less alone. I realize that my music does not yet have that affect, due to my lack of talent. I'm not going to pretend that I can sing like Stephen Jerzak or Adam Young. I know I can't, nor will I ever be able too. I try my best, however. All that being said, I really hope you can relate to my songs. I hope that they help you realize that there's so many other people out there experiencing the same hardships and pain. You can get through anything. Hope is truly all you need. If you ever have a rough day, or just need someone to talk too, just stop by here. I love trying to help people and giving advice. I always respond, and never judge. Influences
I don't want to say "everything", like everyone else, but it is kind of true. Every day something new happens, and I write some stupid song about it. Owl City strongly influenced me with his seemingly perfect lyrics. My Genuine Find's attitude on life inspired me as well. But other things such as Clouds, Nature, Bright Colors, Nice People, Mean People, Cities, Landscape, Palm Trees, Hope, Love, Friendship, High School, Growing Up, Changes, Airports, and Oceans, get me writing at as well. I guess in a since, everything is the only correct answer.
