Just yesterday, we wrote about how the final trailer for Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises will be playing in front of Marvel’s massive superhero team-up flick The Avengers. Well, it looks like Batman isn’t the only superhero looking to capitalize on the fanboy crowd that will surely be in attendence at Marvel’s masterpiece. ComingSoon points out that Spidey director Marc Webb was just on G4’s Attack of the Show, and he announced that a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man would also be swinging into theaters in front of The Avengers.

As if The Avengers itself wasn’t reason enough for fanboys and fangirls to be excited to head out to a theater, now they’ve got trailers for two brand new, highly anticipated superhero movies to watch at the same time! If Warner Brothers decided to show a trailer for Zack Snyder’s new Superman movie Man of Steel, that would be something to be excited about, but that movie doesn’t come out until 2013. There are way too many good movies to be concerned about right now instead of looking that far into the future; 2012 is going to be a great year at the movies, and I’m glad fans will be getting trailers for things that come out in mere months instead of years. Does a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man convince you that you should go see The Avengers in theaters?
