.
When classic rockers Van Halen reunited this year for their new album and much-anticipated tour with David Lee Roth, all seemed well on the oft-rocky Van Halen front. But late Thursday the band announced were postponing more than 30 dates on their current tour to promote their new album, A Different Kind of Truth, with little to no explanation given for the sudden change in plans.
.
The band will put off indefinitely all tour dates after a June 26th show in New Orleans, including shows in Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, and Salt Lake City. According to TMZ, sources close to the band say that the band felt like the current schedule was “too much, too fast” … and they were “losing their focus.”
.
A source aded, “They’re simply burned out” and that “They want to make sure their concerts are not a routine … they want every performance to be special.”Tags : Van Halen
