With less than a month to go before The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters, we’re expecting a barrage of promo spots and clips to be released, and so they are. Today’s video is actually a new TV spot featuring more of the conversation between Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman (Christian Bale) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway).
The interaction between the two is quite refreshing, actually, and seems to provide some comic relief for a movie that is teeming with action and suspense scenes. It’s pretty impressive when she first gets on the Batpod and says, “I got it.” There’s one more tidbit of intel we’ve got about the European premiere that has given us pause for discussion. According to HeyUGuys, there’s a name on the press release of actors who will be attending that we never expected to see there … Cillian Murphy. Murphy, as you may recall, played Dr. Crane, a.k.a. The Scarecrow in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Could it be that Murphy has reprised his role in some small part for this film? I guess we’ll find out next month! .
