If it seems like we’re talking about The Dark Knight Rises every other post, it’s for good reason: Chris Nolan’s conclusion to his Batman trilogy is poised to make a killing at the box office and bring fanboys the closure we’ve been waiting for since The Dark Knight took the world by storm back in 2008. But we’re not the only ones waiting for the film to come out – some of the studios have taken notice, too. TDKR also stars Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and they each have a movie coming out this year that was strategically pushed back after the release of the Bat-finale to capitalize on all the hype and increase awareness of the up-and-coming actors for the general public. Hardy’s got Lawless coming out on August 29th, and JGL has one of his own brewing, too. Kinopoisk (via The Playlist) has a new batch of images from Premium Rush, the delivery biker film starring Gordon-Levitt as a biker tasked with delivering a package across town with some bad people looking to make sure it never reaches its destination. Take a look at the photos below, and don’t forget to let us know what you think in the comments!

Premium Rush races into theaters on August 24th, 2012.
.
Synopsis: Dodging speeding cars, crazed cabbies, open doors, and eight million cranky pedestrians is all in a day’s work for Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the best of New York’s agile and aggressive bicycle messengers. It takes a special breed to ride the fixie – super lightweight, single-gear bikes with no brakes and riders who are equal part skilled cyclists and suicidal nutcases who risk becoming a smear on the pavement every time they head into traffic. But a guy who’s used to putting his life on the line is about to get more than even he is used to when his last envelope of the day – a routine “premium rush” run – turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan.
