The Top 10 Best Things In Pop Culture In 2012
    .
1.) ‘The Avengers’ – With so many characters (and not to mention mega star egos) to juggle, ‘The Avengers’ could have easily been an incoherent mess of a movie. Instead, under the watchful eye of director Joss Whedon, it turned out to be the most entertaining (and dare I say best) super hero movie ever made. The film managed to give equal screen time to all of its mega watt superstars and finally (FINALLY!!!) did The Hulk proud. Yes, ‘The Avengers’ made a ton of money, but it never felt like a soulless blockbuster, actually, it was just the opposite – which is why ‘The Avengers’ will forever be considered a classic.

2012 will likely be remembered for two distinct things when we look back on the events in the film world: the startling rise of Channing Tatum, and the complete domination of The Avengers at the box office, launching Joss Whedon’s career to new heights and capturing the number three spot on the highest grossing movies of all time list. But that doesn’t mean that the movie is flawless, as the folks at ScreenJunkies have pointed out here with their hilarious new “honest trailer” taking a look back at Marvel’s biggest superhero movie to date.
