    Those of you signed up to our mailing list will already know that today is the release date of Send Ultimate (a re-release of "Send" as a double with all the studio material from that period on the 2nd disc) and the launch date of our legal bootleg series (follow links for more information).

    Unfortunately 90% of messages received here are Spam and the sheer weight of that has made the internet monkeys at Wire HQ somewhat weary of hanging out in my space..

    They seem to have also changed the rules over how to become a friend. If you need it use the info above..

    Meanwhile the best way to send a message to Wire is to use the feedback form on 

    Also if you leave comments on this page advertising your band / gig / free tracks / car boot sale / orgy - they will be deleted before anyone sees them so don't bother.. We don't do it to you so don't do it to us.

        I am not advertising my band nor am i selling anything and when it comes to buying it only happens when £££ are in the records holding my account details in natwest computers. I sent that friend request because ... because your music has been a constant companion and a constant source of solace for the last quarter of a century, from the instant I heard the "Lowdown" lament on "Live at the roxy" I was yours body and soul and then an English lecturer (a student of French doing 1 year helping teachers in french high school) I met in 1983 played Pink Flag...I seized his 12strings acoustic and tried to find each song as it was played. It was such fun, and despite 25+ years of guitar playing I still haven't deciphered the 106beats that chord sequence, nor can I make sense of the title (hint for reply). And that Nottingham English lecturer happened to be Noel Kilbride and played in A Witness, then in a.c. temple. I just found him again after all this tme thanks to the net

        I really don't know people bother us with rubbish comments, I don't need more American or African god fearing gits offering to help me with my life. I use Myspace to keep up with bands who have had and are still having a major influence on my life.

        A life without music would be hell!
