Bio
.. .... MY MUSICAL ROOTS ..Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6..! .... My musical roots go back to childhood. I studied piano from age six to eleven and then began drumming at age twelve. My recording interests began at age nineteen and within a few years I quit playing and became a full-time engineer. I built my first recording studio in 1982 - and when I say built, I'm not kidding, I actually built it myself. With only a simple 16-track deck, I quickly gained a reputation as an excellent drum recording engineer. I built my current studio in 1989 and I've been engineering now for 26 years. I've had the good fortune of working with amazing talent over the years - some famous and some not. Currently it's all about Pro Tools but little has changed. I'm still cranking out slamming tracks but mixing has become much quicker and easier, thanks to computer technology. I am an avid Pro Tools user and couldn't work without it! Music always has been and always will be the beating within my soul. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to make my living doing something I love. I hope I get the opportunity to track with you sometime soon. Rock on! -
